Captain’s Blog July 25, 2011 (Day 80) RV Repair, Last Day at Cousin Nancy’s

The RV dash air conditioner was scheduled for repair –again – so we dropped it off at Bill’s shop around 11 am.

We spent the day with Nancy chatting and reviewing our visit.  Nancy’s friend Nancy stopped by so we had a great visit with her as well. Cousin Nancy’s son Kevin  stopped in for a visit. It was good to get to meet him. We didn’t get a picture of him – DUH!

The MH was ready to be picked up around 5 pm so we headed out dreading  the 101 traffic. Much to our surprise it was fairly light and we made it to the garage in 15 minutes.

Once there Jason informed us that the hose he special ordered didn’t fit and he had to have one made up – just like at Poulsbo. OOPHS!!! Another Mickey Mouse job?????

We paid the $625.00 bill and headed back to the CG to set up – once again. That’s three times in the same place in one week. Ron ran the AC and reported that it was working fine.

We headed back to Nancy’s for dinner and to spend a few more hours with her before heading East. Later that evening  Nancy and her husband Tim and son Travis stopped in as well. Then Cousin Nancy’s daughter Lisa stopped in. It was good to see her again. The last time we saw Lisa was in 1989.

We had good conversation and lots of laughs. It was a nice send-off for us.

We left Nancy’s at 10 PM. Late for us and her as well. I think we wore her out but it was really a great visit.
