Captain’s Blog June 7,8,9, 2011 (Days 32,33,& 34) West Coast Family Home

We left Ainsworth around 10 AM heading to Auburn, Washington. The traffic was on the heavy side so slowed us down a little. One stop for another painful refueling and we were on our way.

We arrived in Auburn around 2 PM one day earlier then our scheduled arrival and reservations for Game Farm City Park. The rules state that you can’t stay more then  one seven day period at a time so we hoped the CG Host would be flexible.

Of course he wasn’t there and wasn’t expected to be back until 4 PM so we had to hold off setting up and getting to Kelly & Patrick’s. Once the CG host arrived he was more then happy to  accommodate a longer stay for us.

Finally we got to Kelly’s around 4:45 PM. Got big hugs and a great meal. Later we stopped in to visit Megan at Baskin Robbins where she works. Of course we had to have  ice—cream. A visit to an ice cream parlor is not complete without ice- cream.

On Wednesday and Thursday we enjoyed evening “family” time.  Kelly had to work so we spent the afternoon with Patrick catching up and enjoying the fairly good weather. Megan was spending time with her Father and her other Grandparents  and Uncle from Massachusetts who had flown in for her graduation and her Father’s retirement from the Air Force.

Tomorrow will be  a busy day for all of us. Kelly and Patrick will be off work getting ready for Megan’s graduation and her post party. Ron and I will be heading out early to take the RV to have the AC repaired and the oil changed. Hope all goes well and everything gets done!!!
